n8n is unusual among automation tools: the software itself is source-available and free to run on your own server, so what you actually pay for is n8n Cloud — hosting, maintenance and support — or an enterprise licence.
That makes the pricing question two questions. Do you want to run it yourself, and if not, how many workflow executions do you need each month? n8n bills Cloud plans by executions rather than by task, which is why it works out cheaper than task-metered competitors for busy workflows.
n8n pricing questions
- Is n8n really free?
- The self-hosted Community edition is free to run under a fair-code licence, and there's no execution cap. You're paying with your own time and server costs instead. n8n Cloud is the paid product, and it exists so you don't have to do that.
- How is n8n cheaper than Zapier or Make?
- Zapier charges per task — every step in every run. n8n Cloud charges per execution, so one workflow run is one unit whether it has three steps or fifty. For multi-step automations the difference compounds quickly.
- How much does n8n cost through TechToolz?
- We quote the current price on WhatsApp, because it moves with the plan, the term and what's in stock at the time. Message us with the plan you want and you'll get the figure straight away, before you commit to anything.
- Is the n8n subscription genuine?
- Yes. It's an authentic n8n subscription activated on your own account — you sign in to n8n normally and keep every feature the plan includes. Nothing is shared, cracked or modified.
- How quickly is it delivered?
- Same day in almost every case, usually within the hour. You get a message the moment n8n Cloud Starter is live on your account, and a 48-hour replacement guarantee if anything goes wrong with activation.
